  • MC for prestigious events
  • Facilitator for “survival of the fittest” theme conferences
  • Ambassador for the Sunflower Fund

Speaker topic:
The Good the Bad & the Ugly of Loyalty Programmes

Profile:

Over 100 people auditioned, but it was the Capetonian with the rugged good looks and sexy voice who won the prized slot of Presenter Survivor SA.

Although he had previously starred in screen ads and landed small parts in three international movies, it was Survivor Panama that launched Mark Bayly’s career as a screen star, speaker, corporate video presenter and celebrity MC. With the success of Survivor Malaysia and the third series on the drawing board, Mark Bayly is hot property on the corporate circuit as a professional MC as well as a facilitator of “survival of the fittest” themed conferences and team building challenges.

Mark is a businessman with experience in IT, marketing, tourism and running small hotels. Because of these experiences in the real world, he understands marketing and the bottom line,  an unusual strength among most showbiz personalities.  His speaker topic “The Good the Bad and the Ugly of Loyalty Programmes” is based on personal experience.

Mark is an outdoors guy. Sports hobbies include sailing, surf skiing and running up and down mountains. He has facilitated the past two “Mens Health look” challenge finals and he and Sam Allerton teamed up with Doug Bird in a three man kayak for the Hansa Powerade Dusi in 2007. It was the first time a three man kayak had completed the race.

A snippet of interest is that Mark knows how to make Port in the traditional Portuguese way and many people have been surprised to see him selling “Bayly’s”  special brand of Port at the organic market on Saturdays!

Client Feedback:

“You were great!  I've had so much feedback and everyone loved your talk.”
Amy Northam. Runner’s World and Bicycling

“Mark was amazing! I knew he was just what we needed for the conference and team challenges but we never realised just how much fun he is. He could be a stand up comic. He really mucked in, diving into the sea and swimming from boat to boat. He was absolutely amazing. Our client was blown away.”
Linda van der Veen. Snazzi Events – Rainbow conference 2008

“Mark was the best MC ever!!! And what a pleasure to work with him.”

He inspired, amused and entertained our staff right across the country, and really exceeded all our expectations.  We are so sorry our road show has come to an end! And, to you Ronnie, thank you so very much for your time, advice and guidance with Mark; the suggestions of  games etc  which enabled a successful road show. It was a pleasure dealing with you! Thanks again.”

Thanks for all your help.”
Anthea Petersen, Head of Marketing – Oracle Airtime sales.

“The entire Men's Health team and our finalists loved Mark. He was such a pleasure to work with - so professional, always enthusiastic and a fantastic sense of humour that kept our spirits at an all-time high. With these qualities; there's no doubt in my mind that Mark is going to go far in this industry and we will definitely book him for future events and promotions.”
Lisa Judson •  Promotions Manager  •  Men's Health & Men's Health Living

“Mark was fantastic! The clients  were thrilled with his performance. He was a pleasure to work with, he was able to adapt quickly and easily to any changes thrown at him, and hit all the critical points of our brief spot on. Not only would we use him again but, we would not hesitate to recommend him to others in this role.” Jonathan Lang. 1kw for FNB Innovators Awards 2007

A professionally made corporate video can provide a platform for companies to communicate a message, demonstrate a product in action or express techniques and ideas to staff in an interesting and dynamic way. Corporate videos can do all of this for a fraction of the cost, as the film becomes a contained medium through which a company's message or product becomes accessible to a wider audience in a shorter period of time. more info »
