Kevin Fine is a legend!
Fan sites were jammed with mails from disappointed fans when he left 5fm in 2008, after 12 years of “Keep it real, keep if Fine.”
In his years on radio, he became the voice of youth culture and action sports with his Saturday show “Impact Zone” bringing world sports stars to South African audiences.
The breakfast show “Kevin’s Rise ‘n Fine” was unique, drawing listeners to his madcap adventures which included shark cage diving, all night movie marathons around the country, driving lessons for bad drivers and “The Damn Fine Golden Bowl Team” naked street races that defy description. He also camped out on a billboard for 5 days as MTN’s Man in a Box.
“Kevin’s Command Performances,” in which live studio audiences were treated to unplugged sets from rising stars, like Prime Circle, Loyiso, Skwatta Kamp, Danny K and Louise Carver, were beyond popular. It was an SA first and gave new artists a powerful platform of introduction to music lovers.
Kevin’s work for charitable causes is legendary too. His “Bury me in books” campaign added over 600 000 books to libraries and the needy, and led to Kevin being awarded the Paul Harris Fellowship, Rotary International’s highest honour.
Considering his high profile and amazing ability to get thousands of people fired up, it was a natural progression for Kevin Fine to move on to bigger things. He is the head of programme and facilitator for the FIFA Football For Hope Festival, which kicks off during the 2010 FIFA World Cup. He’s Football consultant to EA, responsible for engaging world cup sponsors, and he’s a member of the Commercial Alliance Committee.
As an MC, Kevin’s experience, quick thinking and ability to fire up an audience, has earned him a loyal corporate following and he’s truly one of the best professional MCs in the country.
“Kevin’s quick and quirky sense of humour together with his vast knowledge and understanding of sport, makes him an ideal MC for any event.” Martin Swart. Maverick Experiental SA. |

A professionally made corporate video can provide a platform for companies to communicate a message, demonstrate a product in action or express techniques and ideas to staff in an interesting and dynamic way. Corporate videos can do all of this for a fraction of the cost, as the film becomes a contained medium through which a company's message or product becomes accessible to a wider audience in a shorter period of time. more info »
