Freek Robinson
Freek Robinson

Freek Robinson  is a household name and he’s been an integral part of the Current Affairs landscape on SA television through the dramatic changes in our history. In 2000 Fokus won the South African Science and Technology award for television. Other awards include an Artes for Best Television presenter, a Star Tonight! as best Executive Producer and a Sanlam Award for Best Financial Journalist. He was also awarded the SABC News Best Current affairs presenter and the ATKV as best Presenter.

Presenter of Fokus, the current affairs programme on SATV2, and the host of a current affairs talk show on RSG,  Freek continues to raise the bar of excellence. As an objective interviewer, he has chaired many public and business debates, both on television and on public and business platforms. He chaired and presented the  Mandela/De Klerk debate in 1994, which was broadcast to over 800 million viewers worldwide.

Freek travelled extensively, producing documentaries on economic and political developments in Europe, China, South East Asia, Australia, North and South America and Africa, prior to launching his own corporate media training consultancy.

Yet this committed family man remains a staunchly passionate South African and is a keen observer of up-to-the-minute developments with strong opinions about South Africa’s future and what needs to be done to ensure the future.

A clear understanding of the past and present is essential in preparing for the future and Freek Robinson’s on the button observations are fascinating as well as helpful in positioning  for success

As a public speaker, Freek will adapt his presentation to the relevant industry when discussing the political, social and economic scenarios. With 2010 approaching, Freek is also the man to talk to about statistics and business opportunities.

Corporate videos can do all of this for a fraction of the cost, as the film becomes a contained medium through which a company's message or product becomes accessible to a wider audience in a shorter period of time. more info »
