Elana started out on radio but there was no holding this little dynamo back as her career on radio and television has proved.

Currently also presenting the extra Idols show on GO channel, Elana is a must have at most events, style parties and media days. It’s unusual to flip through a magazine and not see her in the fashion or society gossip pages.

She holds a degree in drama and performing arts from Stellenbosch University and launched herself into her new career at the tender age of 20, presenting for Kyknet, M-Net Africa, Topcar on Supersport, plus a young adult show called Jip no Kyknet, as well as an early-morning radio show on Jacaranda 94.2. Nowadays you can catch her on 5fm weekdays and on DSTV and Kyknet.

“It's Staying here that's tough!” she says.  “That requires endurance, little sleep, good people, a smile, fruit in your shopping bag next to the vitamins and the use of a good eye-cream, or anything else that does the job!"

She’s fun, vibrant, a little over the top but she’s totally unique. She has a huge fan base  and  is in high demand on the corporate calendar.
