Deshnie Govender, better known as DJ Roxxi, has taken South African Nite clubs by storm. This young funky DJ  is South Africa’s only Indian female Club DJ spinning everything from funky house, R&B, commercial and Bhangra!

Roxxi is not only a DJ but is a music producer as well, working on her soon to be released debut album.

Roxxi has been profiled on radio, newspapers and magazines all across South Africa. In 2006 she was nominated as one of Cosmopolitan Magazines top 30 Awesome women. This nomination comes at a time where Roxxi is embarking on motivational talks, inspiring and motivating the youth of South Africa and establishing a network of Durban business women.

She’s featured on Stoncity and Simplybhangra, she’s signed a contract with Music Fraternity India and she’s going to Egypt on a job in August.

Future plans include her own radio show, DJ school and record label.
