Charmaine started out in radio in 1997 with her debut as a traffic reader with Cape Town’s only talk radio station, 567CapeTalk.  She then worked as part of the morning and afternoon drive teams and hosted her own talk shows, mornings 4 to 6am and the Saturday morning drive slot.

Charmaine made her transition into music radio with the Cape’s Number Hit Music Station 94.5Kfm, in July last year.  She held a weekend slot until November where she brought her wonderful voice and positive energy to the weekday line-up, with her own show from midday to 3pm

Charmaine is also a sought after MC at social and corporate functions.  She has hosted  numerous station events, most recently the Cliff Richard Concert at Kirstenbosch and South African artists Watershed and Jae. 

As a voice artist Charmaine has worked with, amongst others, eTV, The Old Mutual, GrandWest, MTN, Outsurance, Reader’s Digest, Provincial Government Western Cape, and The Humane Education Trust.

With a love of adventure and the outdoors, Charmaine has taken on everything from Fear Factor to crocodile cage diving and is well known for her compassion with animals.
