Bridget is one of the classy and beautiful presenters of MNet’s new behind the scenes to stardom show “All Access” but her personal brand of fab was cemented way before the launch of the popular new show.

2005 saw the birth of a brand new generation in Gauteng with 24- year-old Bridget Masinga  at the helm of the revolution. Her brand of bubbly radio chatter has earned her a huge following as the host of The Elevator  the pre-breakfast slot on YFM 99.2 GP’s hottest frequency.
Bridget hit the small screen as an actress in 2006 on SA’s most watched and longest running soap Generations, in which she played the role of the controversial and challenging  Zoe. She has played the role of "rich girl" Theresa Nyawose in the SABC1 drama series Bay of Plenty since October 2007.

She presented the popular music programmes Selekta and Beatlab on GO! Before her role as co-presenter of MNet’s  popular quiz show, Temptations, followed by The Movie Show.  

The Durban born beauty has been a sought after face since she became known  as ‘the pit-bull in the skirt’ in the  Miss SA  finals 2002. Being crowned 2nd runner-up in the 2002 Miss South Africa contest catapulted Bridget into a lucrative modeling career. She  became the face of  a number of top brands including Levi’s, MTN and Edgars.  But the most famous modeling shot of all is that of a naked Bridget covered by a python, which featured in an HIV/AIDS awareness campaign of a main stream magazine.

Her brand of big sisterly advice and trendy dress sense has endeared her to thousands of young women as a media role model for the new generation. They tune in every week-end between 12-3pm on GP’s hottest frequency to get their weekly fix of Bridget on Y. So don’t be surprised if you hear little girls all over GP signing off their phone calls with Bridget Masinga’s signature “Have a Gucci day now”!
